  • The Superior Labor (TSL) – founded by husband and wife craftspeople Makoto and Yoshimi Kawai in 2007, all products are made entirely by hand with love and care in a former schoolhouse-turned-workshop located in the mountains of Okayama, Japan. The TSL team works diligently to honour organic material and making sure to minimize production waste. As a result, some of the TSL artifacts feature natural markings such as scars, blemishes, wrinkles.     • Tochigi Vegetable-Tanned Nume Leather - crafted from pit-tanned Nume leather, this material lets you fully appreciate the natural, raw character of the hide. Pit tanning is a traditional, time-honored method where hides are slowly tanned using natural plant tannins. Suspended in vats (pits) filled with tanning liquor, the leather is meticulously processed over several weeks to months. Though highly labor-intensive, this patient craftsmanship results in incredibly durable, resilient leather that develops a rich, distinct character with use. It is a material truly made to be aged and cherished over time.
    • Vertical L-zip design opens wide for superior visibility - functional elegance is at the heart of this meticulously crafted piece.
