• The word "Haikara" is derived from the English “High Collar”, which became popularised as a term to describe "stylish, new, fresh or fashionable" trends and culture that began entering Japan from Europe and America between 1912 and 1926. This movement in Japanese culture is called "Taisho Roman", a nod to the European romanticism that inspired it.
• Opera Rose colour – offers a soft blush velvety peach colour that is inspired by the velvet lounges of 1940s theatres, reminiscent of a time when European operas started becoming popular in Japan.
