  - Tenmusu / Shachihoko (天むす / しゃちほこ): Tenmusu is a traditional Japanese food from Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture that is a perfect match between shrimp and rice balls. Its feature is that locals use rice mixed with salt, and you can enjoy the natural taste of shrimp and the special sauce of each restaurant. A typical tenmusu has shrimp tempura inside a triangular rice ball, and the tail of the shrimp pops out from the top of the rice ball. Shachihoko is a mythical creature in half fish and half tiger. It is the most famous icon of Nagoya Castle, which is displayed as a golden statue high on its roof.

  - Tokugawa Ieyasu (德川家康): Tokugawa Ieyasu emerged victorious from the decisive Battle of Sekigahara, which had split Japan into East and West factions, and upon his investment as Shogun, established his government in Edo. In 1610, he called upon former enemy daimyo to commence construction of his new castle to be built at Nagoya.
